The demo I recently received from Activetrails was really great, informative and so helpful to try before you buy so to speak. I really valued the opportunity because it is difficult to know what wheelchair suits you, especially when you need it for all terrain purposes - for me this entails field trips and environmental consultancy work. Stuart thoroughly spoke through the wheelchair, all its parts, maintenance, and how to manoeuvre in it. Next i was able to try it out, once i got familiar with the steering (as it is steered through the back trike wheel unlike a conventional wheelchair) we went over grass, some woodland and gravel car park. The trike managed so well over all the terrains and had no issues going up gradients or down. The breaking system is super sensitive but once I got the hang with it i was away going down slopes I wouldn't have managed in my basic wheelchair. I can definitely see the appeal for the Mountain Trike, the lever propel system is much easier than conventional propelling, it can cope on numerous terrains and even folds up to fit in a car!

> Stuart was very friendly with demonstrating the wheelchair, he made me feel comfortable in the chair and getting to grips with the steering and propelling. I would highly recommend Mountain Trike if you're thinking of buying an all-terrain wheelchair. And would definitely recommend a demonstration to work out if the chair is suitable to you.
